This policy covers the Pelsung Wiki at https://wiki.pelsung.space, an internal knowledge base (built on the open-source Outline software) run by Pelsung (pelsung.bt), an organisation based in Bhutan. It is for Pelsung staff and collaborators.
Who can sign in
You sign in only with Google Sign-In, and only with a @pelsung.bt Google account. We request the basic scopes openid, email and profile. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar or any other Google data.
What we collect
- From Google: your name, email address and profile picture.
- Content you write in the wiki, such as meeting notes and documents. Some meeting notes may be transcripts of meetings that staff recorded locally and then added to the wiki.
- Standard server logs.
How we use it
Only to run the wiki: to sign you in, show who wrote what, and store and share your content with other Pelsung users. There are no ads and no analytics. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties. The wiki sends no email.
Who processes the data
- Google, for sign-in.
- DigitalOcean, for hosting. The wiki runs on a server operated by Pelsung in Bangalore, India, so your data is stored and processed outside Bhutan.
We keep regular backups of the wiki.
Who can see your content
Content is visible to signed-in Pelsung users according to the wiki's collection and document permissions. Pelsung administrators can access the system and its data in order to run it.
Retention and deletion
Your account data and content are kept while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time; we will delete it, and backup copies are removed as backups are rotated out.
Security
Access requires a Pelsung Google account, and the wiki is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to what is needed to run the service.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data by contacting us below. You can also revoke the wiki's access to your Google account at any time in your Google Account security settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top.
